Coverage Limit
Your coverage limit is the maximum your insurer will pay on a claim. Liability limits are usually expressed as three numbers, e.g. 100/300/50:
- $100,000 bodily injury per person
- $300,000 bodily injury per accident
- $50,000 property damage per accident
State minimums are often inadequate for serious accidents. Most experts recommend 100/300/100 or higher.
