Privacy Policy
Last Updated: September 14, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how information is collected, used, and shared when you use the CliqCoverage website and service. Please read it together with our Terms of Use.
1. Who we are
CliqCoverage is a service and brand operated by Metrix Holdings, LLC (“we,” “us,” or “our”), 817 West Peachtree St., P200, Atlanta, GA 30308. CliqCoverage is an insurance-shopping and matching service. We are not an insurance company, and we do not issue policies, set premiums, or make underwriting or eligibility decisions.
2. Information you provide
When you use our questionnaire, you may provide:
- Name, email address, and phone number
- Street address, city, state, and ZIP code
- Date of birth
- Gender and marital status
- Homeownership status
- Vehicle information (year, make, and model)
- Insurance information, such as whether you currently have coverage and your current insurance company, if you choose to tell us
- Driving-history information, such as recent incidents you report
- Any other information you choose to give us, including in free-text fields
You do not have to answer every question, but incomplete information may limit what we can do with your request.
3. Information collected automatically
When you visit the site, we and our service providers may collect:
- IP address and browser/user-agent information
- The page you landed on and the referring website, if any
- Attribution identifiers passed in the web address, such as click identifiers, publisher identifiers, UTM parameters, and similar marketing parameters
- Interaction information about how you move through the questionnaire
- General technical and device information generated by normal web requests
4. How we use information
We use information to:
- Operate, maintain, and improve the service
- Process your request and the information you submit
- Identify insurance options that may be relevant to you
- Connect or match you with insurance-related providers, agencies, advertisers, marketing partners, or other participating businesses
- Measure marketing attribution and performance
- Detect, prevent, and investigate fraud, abuse, and security issues
- Create and keep records of the consent and disclosures presented to you
- Respond to your questions and requests
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms
We do not calculate premiums, issue policies, provide insurance coverage, or search every insurance company or product available in the market.
5. How information may be shared
CliqCoverage is an insurance-shopping and lead-generation service. Information you submit may be transmitted to third parties involved in responding to your request. Those recipients may include:
- Insurance-related providers, insurance companies, and their representatives
- Insurance agencies, agents, and producers
- Advertisers, lead buyers, and marketing partners
- Technology and service providers that help us operate the service
- Attribution and measurement providers
- Fraud-prevention, phone-validation, and security providers
- Consent and compliance providers
- Legal, regulatory, or law-enforcement recipients where we believe disclosure is required or appropriate, and parties to a corporate transaction such as a merger or sale of assets
Once information is transmitted to a third party, that party generally uses it under its own privacy practices, which we do not control. Recipients are not limited to the businesses that may later be shown to you on the site.
6. Advertising and compensation
We may be paid by participating businesses, advertisers, and partners in connection with your use of the service — for example, when you submit information, when you are connected with a provider, or when you click an offer. Compensation may influence which businesses participate and how options are presented. It is not a statement about price, quality, or suitability, and using CliqCoverage is free to you.
7. Consent and communications
The consent disclosure presented at the point of submission governs how participating businesses may contact you. Where you provide that consent, you may be contacted using the methods described in that disclosure. That disclosure — not this Privacy Policy — is the controlling statement of what you agreed to. Standard message and data rates may apply.
8. Opting out and revoking consent
You may revoke the marketing consent you gave us at any time through our opt-out page, which is handled by our consent-management partner, Revoq. When you submit a request, your phone number and email are added to our internal do-not-contact list, and we notify the marketing partners that received your information so they can suppress it as well.
Requests take time to propagate, and you may receive messages already in progress. Opting out through CliqCoverage cannot stop contact from every company everywhere, including companies that obtained your information independently of us, and it does not cancel any insurance policy you have purchased. To make changes to a policy, contact that company directly.
The opt-out page manages marketing contact preferences — calls, texts, and related marketing communications — within the scope of that system. Submitting a request there does not necessarily exercise every privacy right you may have under applicable law. For broader privacy requests, see “Your privacy choices and rights” below.
9. Cookies, storage, and tracking technologies
Our questionnaire keeps your answers and marketing attribution information in your browser’s session storage so you do not lose your place as you move between pages. Session storage is cleared when you close the browser tab. We use a small amount of local storage for basic site preferences.
Third-party technologies present on the site include Google reCAPTCHA (abuse prevention), Google Maps Platform address lookup on the address step, and ActiveProspect TrustedForm, which records a certificate documenting your interaction with the consent disclosure. These providers may set their own cookies or storage and process information under their own privacy practices. We do not run third-party advertising cookie networks on this site.
10. Data retention
We keep information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy, including operating the service, maintaining consent and compliance records, resolving disputes, preventing fraud, enforcing our agreements, and meeting legal obligations. We have not set a single fixed retention period that applies to all information.
11. Security
We use reasonable administrative and technical measures designed to protect the information we hold. No website, transmission method, or storage system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee the security of information you submit.
12. Your privacy choices and rights
Depending on where you live and the law that applies to you, you may have rights regarding your personal information, which may include the right to request access to it, correct it, delete it, obtain a portable copy, opt out of certain sales, sharing, or targeted advertising, limit certain uses of sensitive information, and appeal a decision we make about your request. Not every right applies to every person or every situation, and we may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.
To make a privacy-rights request, email us at privacy@cliqcoverage.com and describe the request you are making. You may also write to us at the postal address in the Contact section below. Emailing us does not by itself guarantee any particular outcome; requests are handled subject to applicable law and may require identity verification before we can act on them.
Separately, to revoke marketing consent (calls and texts) and be added to our do-not-contact list, use the opt-out page, which is handled by our consent-management partner, Revoq. That page manages marketing contact preferences; an email to privacy@cliqcoverage.com is the channel for broader privacy-rights requests. The two channels serve different purposes, and using one does not automatically accomplish what the other does.
13. “Sale” and “sharing” of personal information
CliqCoverage is an advertising and lead-generation service, and we may be compensated in connection with transmitting your information to participating businesses. Under some state privacy laws, activity of that kind may be treated as a “sale” of personal information, as “sharing” for cross-context behavioral advertising, or as targeted advertising. Definitions vary by state. Rather than claim that we never sell or share your information, we describe the practice plainly here so you can make an informed decision, and we offer the opt-out described above.
To request to opt out of activities treated as a sale, sharing, or targeted advertising where applicable law gives you that right, email privacy@cliqcoverage.com. Note that the marketing opt-out page described above manages phone and text contact preferences; it is not the mechanism for these statutory requests.
14. Children
The service is intended for adults shopping for auto insurance and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has given us information, contact us and we will take appropriate steps.
15. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last Updated” date at the top of this page.
