What Drives High Scores

  • Claims-handling speed (mentioned by 68% of promoters)
  • Consistent renewal pricing (54%)
  • Clear communication (41%)

What Drives Defection

  • Unexplained rate hikes (72% of detractors)
  • Slow or contested claims (49%)
  • Difficulty reaching a real person (31%)

The Money Line

Even the top-rated carrier is not the cheapest for every driver — and vice versa. Reputation is a tiebreaker, not a substitute for shopping.

Methodology: 2,400 US drivers, weighted to Census; only drivers with 12+ months on current carrier included. Margin of error ±2.0%.
